WHAT WE DO
Filling the Pipeline
Across the nation, there is a shortage of clinicians of color. In Minnesota, only 5% are people of color. This program targets high school and undergraduate seniors, encouraging and empowering them to enter behavioral science programs, earn a master's degree and fill the gap.
MENTAL HEALTH & WELLNESS
Education & Access
In communities of color access to mental health and understanding mental wellness are significant disparities. The goal of this program is to provide educational workshops and training, as well as access to culturally competent mental health professionals.
Our goal is to strengthen the confidence and personal power or women and girls across the Twin Cities. One way that we accomplish this goal is to provide empowerment workshops and a toiletry filled purse to program participants.
Debt-Free & Wealthy
Financial literacy begins with understanding the purpose and how to use money. Teaching people basic principles, helping them become debt-free, and building wealth is the goal of this program.
